Maximum group size for surf lessons is 6 students per instructor.
Costa Rica with its beautiful beaches, lush jungles and friendly people is to many paradise on earth. Costa Rica has a tropical climate with 27-28 degrees in the water all year round and usually a bit more than 30 degrees in the air. The country creed is "Pura Vida" or 'pure life' and this is what Costa Rica is all about - to enjoy life. The locals are incredibly hospitable and unsurprisingly happy given that their home is one of the planet's most precious treasures.
The surf camp lies just a 3-minute drive south of Santa Teresa on the Nicoya Peninsula. Nearby you will find the long beach of Playa Carmen.

Santa Teresa is a charming little surf village with a unique atmosphere thanks to loads of cafe’s, bars and restaurants with flavors from around the world, stretched out along a beach road in the jungle.

1-Week Example Itinerary

The following is an example of a regular week at the surf camp.

Day 1
Arrival day. Unpack, settle in and unwind. Welcome meeting. We get to know each other and have fun with a music quiz.

Day 2
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00 - 10:00 - Breakfast
20:30 - Surf theory presentation at the camp

Day 3
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-10:00 - Breakfast
16:30 - 17:00 - Beach clean-up
19:00 - Dinner out at local restaurant (paid separately)

Day 4
06:00-08:00 - Surf lesson Level 1-3
08:00-10:00 - Breakfast
16:30-19:00 - Option for afternoon zip lining/horseback riding/SUP tour (paid separately)

Day 5
08:00-10:00 - Breakfast
ALL DAY - Camp offers activities Tortuga Island and ATV tour (paid separately)

Activiteiten

Costa Rica is a place where it is easy to enjoy different activities. You can go horseback riding on the beach, join yoga classes, take a SUP tour, rent an ATV or go check out the waterfalls by zipline through the jungle.

Accommodatie

The camp is located in a lush garden with a main villa and some smaller houses, with 40 beds in total. With a great vibe and nice lounge and hangout area by the pool and the bar, the camp is ideal for relaxing after an eventful day. Within walking distance to both the beach and the city centre, everything is set for a perfect holiday. In our main villa there are two private rooms with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. We also have our bungalow double which is our most private and biggest room in our garden. All our dorms are 6 bed dorms located in smaller houses in our garden.

Lokaal vervoer

This package includes an arrival transfer The transport to and from surf lessons and activities will be by minibus.

Arrival Transfer:
Transfer from the airport to the camp is included. The transport will be by minibus.

We offer pick up at Holiday Inn SJO or Selina Downtown San Jose. Pick up at Holiday Inn will be at 08:00 & Selina will be around 07:00.

If your arrival flight is delayed
If your flight is delayed, we ask you to call or send us a text message to inform us about the new arrival time so we can reschedule your pickup accordingly. If you fail to do so you might be required to pay for the pickup initially ordered, even though you cannot make it on time.

Maaltijden

The breakfast, which is included in all packages, consists of a delicious menu of local flavours and guest favourites such as cereal, eggs and freshly baked bread served with jams, yoghurt and fresh fruit. A tasty range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes are available for lunch and dinner, all prepared fresh on-site by our very own chefs. Some dinners are included in the package. The camp has a restaurant and bar, and they will offer lunches for purchase, as well.

Naturally, we will happily cater to any dietary requirements you may have.
