The following is an example of a regular week at the surf camp.
Arrival day. Check in at the Surf Camp and go for a dip in the ocean, go for a city walk and simply just chill on our roof top terrace.
We wake up and have breakfast at 09:00, and assess the conditions for the day. You will be assigned to your instructor and divided into groups depending on your level of surfing. Once at the beach, the class will start with an equipment and safety introduction and then we will start working on paddling and pop-ups: the basics of surfing a wave. After 2.5 hours, your body will be tired and you can spend the afternoon as you please. Dinner is organized at 20:00, if you want to join.
Breakfast at 09:00, then off to the beach. Where we go depends on the conditions. If it's good, we might take a roadtrip down south to deserted beaches and make it a day trip. We always find some good waves for the lesson. If you want to surf more in the afternoon, and conditions are good, there are small waves to practice on in front of the camp. Dinner is organized at 20:00, if you want to join.
Breakfast at 09:00, then off to the beach. By now you are feeling comfortable with the board and the waves. The more waves you catch, the faster you will develop. Every day there are new things to learn. Knowing the rules and the code of conduct is a big part of being safe in the water. We have dinner at 20:00, or if you are keen, you can try some of the local restaurants down the street.
Breakfast, surf, sun, fun maybe some more surf or we organize a trip somewhere in the afternoon.
Day off from instructions, but if conditions allow we all want to go surf anyway. Try the waves in front of the camp or take a short trip to Agadir to see some more of Morocco.
Last day of your surfing week. By this stage you are up and riding and you feel comfortable. Your body is feeling stronger, you are catching more waves and you don't get as tired. You now have a very good foundation of what surfing is about, both in theory and in practice.
Check out. Just make sure to have your things removed from the room before 11:00, but after that you can still hang out and relax at the camp.
The schedule and program are subject to change without prior notice according to weather, waves and other factors.
