The province of Mendoza is a dry piece of land with huge mountains to the west and an endless plain to the east. Only 5% of Mendoza´s territory is productive and summers are long, bright and hot. But somehow nature has its surprises.
The combination of soil with high quantity of minerals, long hours of sun, enough hours of cold and water brought by the thaw of the high snows created a perfect ecosystem for the development of grapevine. 85% from Argentinas wine come from Mendoza and local productions have reached places far away. So this is Mendoza, a wine country combined with the impressive high Andes and all classical activities of the mountains. And as a complement, a provincial but nice city built by the working force of immigrants that came looking for a new future in the last century.

Mendoza Arrival Package - 3 Days

Day 1: Mendoza

Arrival at Mendoza Airport. Transfer to your accommodation and check-in.

Day 2: Winery Tour (Half Day)

This tour starting at 14:00 runs among vineyards in the areas of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu. You will experience the work culture brought by European immigrants, using irrigation techniques (canals and ditches) inherited from the former Huarpes original people. They managed to change a vast desert into a productive river oasis. This is the scene of the settlement of prestigious wineries, which represent Argentine wines in the world with high quality wines.

You will visit two wineries, one with traditional organic methods and the other that uses the latest available technology. Guided by professionals in wine making, you will learn about the vinification methods and processes, bottling and labelling of wines, and at the end of the tour you will get to taste the different grapes that the wineries offer.

Day 3: Mendoza

Breakfast. Free day to relax and enjoy beautiful Mendoza.

Day 4: Mendoza

Breakfast, check-out and transfer to airport.
