After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kalpitiya. Kalpitiya, a popular tourist destination, is a peninsula beautifully located between the deep lagoon of Puttalam and the Indian Ocean; a marine sanctuary with a diversity of habitats. A boat trip from the Alankudah beach can offer you a chance to visit the famous spot for dolphin watching where you can see about a hundred at once. The largest coral reef in Sri Lanka is also in Kalpitiya, the best place for snorkelers to explore. In the evening, set off to explore the tip of the Kapitiya Peninsula, which has remnants of the old Dutch settlement.

Setoff early morning for a Dolphin Watching excursion. This is a good opportunity to spot pods of Spinner and Bottle Nosed Dolphins in their natural habitat. Return to the resort and transfer to Sigiriya. Enroute, visit Sri Lanka’s first capital Anuradhaura and witness some of its most spectacular highlights in a brief tour of Anuradhapura. You will reach Sigiriya in the late evening, so it'll be time to relax at your hotel.

In the morning, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, built by King Kashyapa (473-495 AD). The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel, rising 200 meters from the jungle, and was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart and extensive gardens, including the renowned ponds, form the base of the rock. You will also visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster. After exploring the Rock Fortress, return to the hotel for breakfast.
In the afternoon, go to a village house to prepare lunch with a local family. You will have the opportunity to blend with the local family and prepare food together with the group. It will be a hand-on experience. After the preparation of the food, you will enjoy the lunch with the local family. In the evening cycle on the back roads through rural scenery and explore the surroundings of Sigiriya.

After breakfast, setoff for Kandy. The first stop of the day will be at a Spice Garden in Matale. It is interesting to learn about the Sri Lankan spices as it is a part of the culture. You will also get familiar with herbal medicine. Continue the journey to Kandy.Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name "Kandy" conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts & crafts center, a gem museum and a lapidary. Your evening is free to explore the city of Kandy.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Nuwara Eliya. During this trip, you will have a chance to witness the scenic tea country as you ascend in altitude to reach the scenic hill country town of Nuwara Eliya. En-route you will have a chance to visit a tea factory and witness the process that transforms the raw tea leaves into the final product. Afterwards, embark on a train at the Nanu Oya station and travel through velvet tea plantations. This train ride is famous for its scenic beauty. Upon reaching Ella check into your accommodation and relax.
