Day 4: Puerto Madryn Departure (B)
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to your new friends. After checking-out from your accommodation, this amazing adventure will come to an end.
1- Whale Watching Navigation (From June 1st to November 30th)
Please note: This Optional excursion has to be taken the same day of the Peninsula Valdes Full Day Tour. Duration of navigation: 1 hours and 30 minutes.
When the Peninsula Valdes Tour reaches Puerto Piramides, a small touristic village in the coast of the Peninsula, we have the chance, during whale season, to embark for a Whale Watching excursion. The guides on board will tell you about the coastal and marine ecosystems. This navigation is enjoyable because of the environment and because of the company of the gentle giants of the sea. Apart from observing them in their habitat, we will learn about their biological cicle: mating, birth and breeding of these beautiful whales.

After that, we will move towards Punta Tombo, a geographic feature that serves as a habitat to the “Magallanes” Penguin. There, we will have time to observe how the Gulls, “Skuas”, “Petrels”, Cormorans, Oystercatchers and Duck Steams cohabit in the coast. You will also be able to observe steppe characteristic species like “Guanacos”(typical animal), “Choiques” (small ostrichs), “Maras” (big patagonian Hares) and Foxes.
