Start your trip with an airport or bus station pick-up on Day 1 and transfer to your accommodation. Enjoy free time to see the city on your own. Day 2 begins with a free morning and then a half-day winery tour in the afternoon to some of the finest wineries in the Maipu region. Learn about both traditional and modern winemaking methods from the processes of growing the crops, harvesting, bottling and labeling. Sip some of the finest wines in the world on this tour and drive back to Mendoza through breathtaking wine country. Take a full day trip to the Aconcagua Valley on Day 3 to enjoy a day filled with breathtaking views of a variety of landscapes, and see Mount Aconcagua. Your trip ends on Day 4 with an airport or bus station drop-off.
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Airport or Bus Station Pickup in Mendoza
We will pick you up at the airport or bus station in Mendoza in the morning and transfer you to your accommodation where you can get settled in. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon with free time to see the city of Mendoza as you please!
Day 2: Half Day Winery Tour (B)
Enjoy a free morning to relax and walk around on your own, then at 14:30 pm, you will go on your Half Day Winery Tour (except on Sundays, the tour is at 8:30 am).
Your journey begins in Mendoza where you will take a guided tour of the principal wine making area in the country - Maipu. Here you will visit wineries that produce both industrial and traditional wine to see how some of the world’s best wine is created and see the differences in production. Enjoy the opportunity to taste world-class wines while enjoying the great atmosphere of the region.
Learn about the history of the wine industry in the region and the extent to which its renowned wines are exported to different countries around the world. Get in touch with the hard working locals who work the lands by using ancient irrigation canals and ditches to water their crops, practices inherited from the original inhabitants of these lands. See both traditional and modern winemaking methods from the processes of growing the crops, harvesting, bottling and labeling. Sip some of the finest wines in the world on this day trip and drive back to Mendoza through breathtaking wine country.

Day 3: Aconcagua Valley Day Trip (B)
Get ready for a day filled with breathtaking views of a variety of landscapes. We depart Mendoza early in the morning following the winding path of the Mendoza River for majestic views of the Cordon del Plata mountain range and the Potrerillos dam, an impressive construction used for hydraulic power generation and water distribution.
On this day trip we will visit the Vaults of Uspallata, historic “adobe” (mud) buildings, where the chaplain Fray Luis Beltran, casted cannons and guns. Upsallata was a pre-Hispanic settlement of the Huarpes aboriginal tribe and the southernmost point of the Inca Empire that extended south from the Peruvian Inca Trail. Then we will continue to the villages of Picheuta, Polvareda, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes ski resort where we will have free time to ride the chair lift up the mountain for beautiful panoramic views. Later along our route we will come to the Puente del Inca with impressive ancient architecture and several natural hot springs.
At 2,750 meters above sea level, we will reach the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the colossus of the Americas standing at 6,959 meters surrounded by the Laguna Horcones and the Aconcagua Provincial Park. We will continue along the intercontinental highway to reach our last destination, the European-style Las Cuevas village located 3,200 meters above sea level. Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, is the path that allows access up to “Cristo Redentor” monument (4,200 meters) symbolizing the union between Argentineans and Chileans. We will then return to Mendoza in the evening.

Please remember that the Argentine Immigration Office is charging ALL citizens from the United States and Australia a "Reciprocity Fee". You are responsible for paying for this fee online and printing your receipt, which you must present to the Customs Authority upon entering the country. There are no exemptions to this new fee and it must be paid regardless if you are staying for a few hours, making a flight connection or staying for a longer period of time. Please note that for some nationalities, the option to pay for multiple entrances does not exist. You are responsible for having these documents in order prior to arrival.
