Freely explore Cuzco before boarding your overnight bus transfer from Cuzco to Puno on Day 1. On Day 2 continue your transfer to Copacabana and then hop on a boat to discover Isla del Sol with its Inca Stairs and fountain of eternal youth before spending a night on the island. Early morning exploration of the Pilkokaina ruins is in store for Day 3 before your transfer back to La Paz where you will have free time to explore and spend the night. Your trip ends after check-out on Day 4.
Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Overnight Bus From Cuzco to Puno
Start your journey with a free day to explore Cuzco before you make your way to the bus station at 22:00. Hop on board your overnight bus transfer to Puno. Overnight on bus.
Day 2: Bus Transfer Puno to Copacabana & Boat Copacabana - Isla del Sol (L)
You will be arriving to Puno around 04:30 and shortly after, at around 07:00, you will take a bus transfer at to Copacabana. Upon arriving in Copacabana, enjoy a traditional lunch around 12:00 with your travel group before a short visit of the church and main plaza. Then take a boat to Isla del Sol (Sun Island) where you will hike the ‘’Escalinatas de Yumani’’ Inca Stairs followed by a visit to the fountain of eternal youth. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the island and have dinner (not included) as you make your way to your accommodation. Overnight in the Island.
Day 3: Isla del Sol - Copabacana - La Paz (B/L)
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before continuing your adventure with some early morning exploration of the Pilkokaina ruins around 7:30. Take the boat back to Copacabana where you will have lunch and then continue your journey with a bus transfer to La Paz. Enjoy the rest of your day, find your way to your accommodation and have some well deserved rest. Overnight in La Paz.
Day 4: La Paz Accommodation Check-Out (B)

LA PAZ ACCOMMODATION PICK-UP: Tour accommodation pick-ups are only from central La Paz hotels or hostels; this does not include Airbnb or private accommodation. All those who are not staying within the pick-up area will have to make their own way to the bus terminal at their own cost.
SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: Rain pants, rain poncho, trekking boots, sandals, warm socks, sweater, thermals, hat, gloves, sun hat, sun block, sun glasses, flashlight/torch, camera, extra batteries and memory card (there is limited to no electricity available during the trek), waterproof bags for your camera, hand sanitizer, personal first aid kit, water bottle.
