Travel from Moab, across the Green River Desert to the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park. This two day backcountry 4x4 adventure is what 'getting off the beaten track' is all about. Along the way hike to Horseshoe Canyon and see if you can spot some unique rock art. Feel like you have stepped into another world as you explore High Spur slot canyon. You'll want to have your camera fully charged as High Spur is renowned as one of the most photogenic slot canyons in the area. There is no doubt about it, these two days will knock your socks off! Stop by Goblin Valley State Park, so-called thanks to its weird goblin-like rock formations, and the petroglyphs at Capitol Reef National Park en route to Bryce Canyon National Park. Kick back and relax beside the gentle flow of the Virgin River or for the best views in the park hike to the famous Angels Landing which offers 360 degrees of the entire park.
